WALKIE TALKIE

WALKIE TALKIE is an ongoing new media and theatre project originally created for 13-16 year olds in West Yorkshire. The project enables participants to create Audio Tours of their own locality or chosen place to unlock feelings and demonstrate individuality. For more details CLICK here....

BLUE SKY

BLUE SKY was a drama based participatory project for young women being looked after and ceasing to be looked after, exploring identity with regard to sexual health and teenage pregnancy. BLUE SKY culminated in a presentation for peers, carers, family and professionals, invited by the participants.

R U HOME

RUHOME was a unique online radio project that weaves fact with fiction through an intriguing series of monologues, interviews and life stories which explore issues relating to home and homelessness, created by young Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans and Questioning (LGBTQ's) people. It examined research commissioned by Stonewall explaining that while some young people are thrown out of their homes because of an intolerant attitude towards their sexuality, it can also be the young person's fear of a hostile reaction which prompts them to leave home.

SNAPSHOTS

SNAPSHOTS was a drama and internet project for Primary Schools Years 5 and 6, that allowed pupils to develop content for a website, upload that information and see the content "go live". It developed positive self-esteem, teamwork, communication and ICT skills in the process realising each individual's creative potential and facilitate creative self-expression through image and word. SNAPSHOTS considered ideas of citizenship and how identity is expressed according to the physical environment in which we live.
