OUTREACH ON TOUR...
Whenever possible, we underpin our touring with a dedicated programme of outreach that aims to give audiences greater access to the themes and ideas of the work, a greater understanding of how we make our shows and to develop the creative potential of all those who participate.
Our next collaboratively made piece – THE MOON THE MOON - is planned to tour in early 2009. Workshops to accompany the show:
DEVISE
This workshop equips participants with techniques to unlock group creativity and generate original material. It will suggest different methods of working, ways to overcome blocks to creativity and deliver skills and tips for performing devised work. It can be curriculum linked at A.S. and A-Level.
HEAD SPACE
This workshop investigated how to write collaboratively, to investigate ideas and develop structure and characters from devised material using the current show as inspiration and source material.
DILATE
This workshop is based on a technique called DILATION developed by Unlimited from the work of Eugenio Barba and Jerzy Grotowski to build performer confidence and presence on stage and draw audience focus through an "extra daily" approach to performing.
The workshops described above are adapted to meet the needs of the particular group.
