Unlimited Theatre runs a dedicated education programme to accompany its
artistic practice, the focus of which is enabling creativity for personal
development and providing access to quality performing arts education.
We work in partnership with venues, schools, colleges, universities and community groups throughout the UK to deliver innovative and inspiring projects that have genuine impact.
We believe that the experience of engaging with theatre, both as an individual and together with others as an audience is a genuinely life enhancing experience.
Theatre contributes to the broad education to which every young person has a right.
Our delivery is accessible and inspiring, building on each person's capabilities and emphasising a sense of achievement for all.
We provide a comprehensive and complimentary set of Teachers’
Notes for each element of our education programme giving preparation exercises,
suggestions for follow up work and worksheets.
• To create an awareness in young people of theatre as a powerful medium for creative expression and cultural development.
• To develop theme and skills related workshops to run in schools and to monitor and evaluate these closely.
• To increase our understanding of young people in their different stages of emotional and intellectual development through school visits, observation, workshops, conversation and play.
• Through regular dialogue, to seek advice and positive criticism from teachers and other specialists towards the content and format of our education programme.
